Hi-Tec Decorators ("we", "us", "our") provides painting, decorating and property maintenance services across Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how it's handled.

Information we collect

When you submit the “Get Your Free Quote” form on this site, we collect:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Phone number
  • Job type (e.g. Interior Painting, Exterior Painting, Wallpapering)

If you arrived here via an online advert or marketing campaign, we may also record basic campaign attribution data (such as which advert or source brought you to the site) alongside your enquiry, so we can understand which marketing is working.

Why we collect it

We use this information to respond to your quote request and follow up with you — by phone call and, unless you opt out, by text message — about your enquiry and related decorating or property maintenance services.

How your information is processed

Enquiry data submitted through this website is processed and stored on our behalf by GoHighLevel, a customer relationship management (CRM) and marketing automation platform we use to manage quote requests and follow-ups.

GoHighLevel is based in the United States, so your data may be transferred to and processed in the US as part of this service. Where this happens, appropriate legal safeguards are used to protect your data in line with UK data protection law.

We do not currently run any advertising tracking pixels on this site. If we begin running Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising in future, some technical and browsing data may be shared with Meta for ad measurement purposes — this will only happen with your consent via the cookie banner (see “Cookies” below), and we will update this policy at that time.

How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry data for as long as necessary to respond to your request. If you become a customer, we retain your details for the duration of our working relationship and for a reasonable period afterwards — typically up to 6 years — to meet standard UK accounting, warranty and legal record-keeping requirements. Data is securely deleted once it's no longer needed.

Text messages & opting out

Our quote form includes a checkbox that lets you opt out of text messages about your quote and related services at the point you submit your enquiry — it's unticked by default, so texting is the norm unless you choose otherwise. You can change your mind at any time, for any type of contact, by emailing or calling us using the details below and we'll update your preferences.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you at any time. To make a request, email info@hitecbournemouth.co.uk and we'll respond as soon as we can.

Cookies

This site uses only essential cookies by default — the kind needed for the site to function, such as remembering your cookie preference. We don't currently run analytics or advertising cookies (like Meta Pixel). If that changes in future, those cookies will only be set after you click Accept on the cookie banner; choosing Reject keeps only essential cookies active.

You can change your mind at any time using the button below, which clears your saved preference so the banner appears again on your next page load.
